South Suburban Christian Church

I was hired as the Creative Director at South Suburban Christian Church. This is a church with a lot of history that was going through some much-needed changes, starting with the rebranding of the entire church and multiple ministries and programs.

Ministry rebranding

My time at SSCC consisted of meeting with the leaders of the ministries and programs, and evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of the current branding that was already in place. From there, we moved on to addressing the short and long-term goals of each ministry. This helped guide my rebranding efforts and cast vision for the changes that were needed.

sermon series Videos

One of my favorite tasks was creating videos like the one above for each sermon series that the Pastoral team taught each weekend. Scriptwriting, videography, video editing, and motion graphics were some of the skills learned. These videos were also accompanied with the branding of the sermon series to use on slides, and marketing graphics on social media and printed materials.

Vacation Bible school

VBS was one of the most rewarding recurring events that I was tasked with documenting and recapping. To see the lives changed of the kids in attendance as they learned about Jesus and made new friends was one of the best things to capture, and later edit.
