TimberCreek Church

I was contracted to assist the rebrand of Trace Church Northgate to TimberCreek Church in late 2019. It was originally a church plant led by Lead Pastor Patrick Tanton, who I had worked under at previous churches in Colorado. His vision for TimberCreek helped direct all of the branding and marketing efforts. Their mission is to provide a place where people can come to Find God, Feel Freedom, and Fulfill Purpose.

church branding & visual identity

I began by creating an icon and color scheme that fit the outdoorsy theme that the church was wanting in place. Forest green and grayscale colors are paired with a vibrant orange for elements to stand out. Textures were then identified as key elements to go with this outdoors theme such as outdoor photography, topographical map and reclaimed lumber being more subtle elements to tie the entire visual identity together.

printed material

The first stage of the branding efforts made it possible to create printed materials such as volunteer t-shirts, invitation cards, connection cards, and offering envelopes.

Signage design

TimberCreek Church services are held in a school building here in Colorado and that provided its own challenges. They were in need of signage solutions that were easy to setup and take down, as well as “hide” the school branding each Sunday. Everything from canopies to full backdrops and flag signs to be seen from the road were then created.
